Vicki LeBlanc – Photographer & Producer

I am a published, award-winning photographer and proud Texas native. My travels around the world have allowed me to capture and share awe-inspiring moments, but my foundation began much closer to home—with horses. Since the 1970s, I have been an owner, competitor, and breeder of performance Quarter Horses (cutting, reining, and hunter/jumper). That lifelong experience allows me to truly read and understand the horse, creating photographs that not only capture beauty but also make sense to those who know horses best.

Immersed in the cowboy world since the mid-1980s, I bring an insider’s respect for the traditions, order, and authenticity of ranch life. My photography career was born from a deep love of Africa and nature after my first visit there in the early 1980s, and today my work spans commercial, portrait, event, and equine photography.

As a videographer and producer, I combine storytelling with the latest tools—drones, Nikon professional systems, and iPhone cinematography. I produce Shooting West Texas Photography Workshops (www.ShootingWestTexas.com), held twice a year at the o6 Ranch, Hess Ranch, and Gage Ranch, and also lead workshops in Europe.

My work has been published in national and international media and showcased in galleries and online through art prints and books. I am an NPS member with Nikon, a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), and a licensed UAV pilot.
